Calvary Church is situated at the corner of Pilchbank Road and East Prescot Road (A57), in Liverpool.
Here is a simplified diagram of where we are.

Our church is on a main road, the A57, and is close to both the M57 and M62 motorways.
If you are travelling from the city centre, or South Liverpool, the best way would be to come along Prescot Road. When you reach Old Swan (you will see Tesco on your right), the road bends to the left (not a left turn!). This will take you eventually to the big roundabout, and you will see the church opposite you.
Alternatively, you could come down Edge Lane. After passing the Marconi complex on the right, you will reach a junction, where you need to take a left onto St. Oswald's Street. Now Tesco will be on your left. Turn right here to get onto East Prescot Road, which takes you to the church.
If you are travelling from Bootle or Aigburth ways, the best road to get on is Queens Drive, then turn onto East Prescot Road.
Coming in on the M57, you need to leave at junction 2, onto the A57. Travelling a couple of miles down there brings you to the church, which will be on your left.
If you plan to use the M62, there are two ways of getting here. The first is to go to the end of the motorway, take a right onto Queens Drive, then another right at the next big junction onto East Prescot Road, which takes you straight to the roundabout where the church is.
The other way is to come off the M62 at Junction 5, and take the third exit onto Roby Road. This leads onto Pilch Lane, which takes you to the same roundabout.
There is ample parking within the grounds of the church.
Being on a main road, the church is easily accessible by bus.
Arriva has services 7, 10, 10a and 110 which run all the way from the city centre to the church and through to Warrington. If you are coming from Bootle or Aigburth ways, the 161 will get you the closest, leaving you a five-minute walk.

For the 161, you get off at Alder Hey Hospital. If your journey is not on a Sunday, the 61 bus travels the same route.
With the other buses, our situation on the timetables is between Queens Drive and Page Moss, so you can work out roughly what bus to get to arrive on time.

Broadgreen railway station is about a ten-minute walk from the church (or two minutes in a taxi if you are not too fit!).
From the station, you walk down Thomas Lane, which leads onto Brookside Avenue. At the end of that, you will see the church on your right.
